Components

DEDICATED STREAMER UNIT

Forté begins with a streamer module inspired by Audio Group Denmark's Aavik streamers. The module contains high-quality capacitors and does not use any microcomputers. This makes signal processing extremely powerful while radically reducing unwanted noise.

1-BIT DAC CIRCUIT

The challenge of a traditional multi-bit DAC is noise contamination and signal delay, both of which impart an undesirable “digital signature” onto the music. The Forté features a 1-bit circuit developed in-house that preserves analog's sound signature. With fast data-processing and extremely low noise, the DAC of Axxess Forté ensures clarity, precision and a natural presentation.

RESONANT MODE POWER SUPPLY

Forté is powered by an Aavik-inspired “resonant mode” power supply”, ensuring maximum power with ultra-low noise. Conventional switch mode power supplies rely on square waves, which introduce a great deal noise that must later be harshly filtered - a process that is destructive to sound quality. Fortés resonant mode design is principally driven by sine waves, which impart far less noise, requiring less filtering. The resonant mode supply provides instantaneous, quiet power whenever its required by the music.

UMAC™ AMPLIFIER TECHNOLOGY

To achieve maximum performance, Axxess uses the Aavik inspired UMAC™ amplifier technology in the Forté series. This technology has been designed to ensure stability, reliability, and high precision in the amplifier.

HEADPHONE AMPLIFIER SECTION

Forté includes a non-switching Class A headphone amplifier, providing excellent linearity, high-gain, and low distortion.

Noise Control Technology by Ansuz

The Tesla Coil Principle

The key principle of the Tesla coil is two coils wound in opposite directions, one coil and one counter coil. When one coil encounters a voltage spike, a counter spike is simultaneously activated in the other to eliminate the noise. Adding more Tesla coils in parallel increases the noise cancellation. Ansuz uses various types of Tesla coils to complement and reinforce each other.

Analog Dither

Analog dither originated in the field of radar, where it ensured a stronger signal and thus greater range. In Audio Group Denmark products, active Tesla coils receive pulsating dither signals at precisely defined frequencies. This dither process pushes back against the noise floor and amplifies the musical signal, delivering a cleaner, purer musical performance.

Active Tesla Coils by Ansuz

Active Tesla coils are powered, securing a remarkable lower-impedance and a better ability to eliminate noise. Active Tesla coils are about three to four times more efficient than passive coils.

Active Square Tesla Coils by Ansuz

The active square Tesla coils are embedded in our circuitry boards – one coil on the top side and the counter coil on the bottom side. The principle is exactly the same as the active Tesla coil and thus a greater ability to eliminate noise than a passive Tesla coil.

Active Zirconium Anti-Aerial Tesla Coils by Ansuz

All cables act as antennas for unwanted airborne RF noise. An active Tesla coil wound on the external part of a cable prevents the cable from absorbing the RF noise, which instead is canceled by the coil.

Ansuz has implemented a zirconium bar in their anti aerial coil design. The mechanical properties of the zirconium allow for unprecedented resonance control, resulting in outstanding musical refinement and creating a natural soundstage unrivalled in purity, precision and musical detail.

Our new 3rd generation design incorporates more-effective dither frequencies, pushing back against the noise floor even more, opening up the sound stage and allowing the tiniest details of a recording to be heard.
